Ruined Hymns | Not All the Blood

Not All the Blood – A collection of hymn arrangements that I started using devotionally in 1996. I have failed to learn how to read music, and most of the arrangements have no correlation to the original settings. So I call them ruined hymns.

These hymns have been an aid to my own devotional life which – you may ascertain from the hymns I’ve chosen to “ruin” – requires frequent and deep repentance. When I have shared them publically [mostly at Redeemer], the feedback I’ve received suggests that others have to repent often, too.

I will not charge for the album of hymns when it is finally completed. I originally planned for all the proceeds to go directly toward supporting the Missions efforts at Redeemer; however, I think now I will simply provide a way for those who wish to donate. The album is so hungry for grace, I just can’t see charging for it. Let him who has no money come and buy without price!
